Actually there's one thing that I think really works well that I haven't seen mentioned yet -- turning an 8 bar phrase into a 10 bar phrase and using the extra 2 bars as a transition into a new phrase. Usually throws the listener off and gives the next phrase a lot more impact, IMO.

Imagine a our production board filled with pure production related discussion, rich in information, etc. Instead, people are forced to filter through bullshit because certain members just want to stir shit for the sake of it and make snarky comments based on grudges, boredom, or whatever.

You better be glad I am not a moderator because you're right. This place would probably be a ghost town. I would rule this board with an iron fist.
