My night...

Walked in to Jeff playing a f'in wikid set. One of the best I've heard... fucking progsexybeats.... jiving the floor front to back... left to right.... haven't heard that before Jeff.... props....

...its been said... shoulda had the full opening set before Lawler.... Nevio's set did to the night... but it's been said... no need to rehash the comments again a week later...

Anyways.... Lawler... big room Lawlerhouse... that's what I expected, that's what I got. Tribal... yes, he dropped it... but not in mass quantities. I heard the drums, ti ti ti's... rumba rumba... but it wasn't full on Lawlertribal... I didn't expect it, didn't get it.

I love big room Lawler. He played it. I got it. People who compare this set to Skybar sets=apples to oranges.

Was not number one... but he did what I wanted. To rip the room. I hopped.... brought the prog chuggyness.... Voices... inside my head....

...the Lawler chug.... driving beats... I was satisfied.

Not wow'd.

I really can't add too much else..

I do think it affirmed that I am not much of a tribal fan since I actually felt it was too tribally. I agree with Graham on this one and I was kinda surprised to read that people didn't think there was enough of a tribal infusion.

Enjoyed it overall.. but enjoyed the large number of friends in attendance.

Nevio's parties might be more successful if he chose to run them instead of play at them. I had actually forgotten how bad he could be. I can typically find at least something positive in every situation and as hard as I tried I couldn't with his set.
