lol, yeah everyone talks about the dre headphones like they are the best thing since sliced bread....

Why would I want to use anything that did not have a flat frequency response? I enjoy listening to music exactly the way the producer envisioned it...

Flat frequency response for pure listening pleasure is bad. You're not doing a mixdown, you're just enjoying it. Inverse smiley is what you should be aiming at.

offtopic: Just swapped out my worn shitty foam pads on my 7506 with Beyerdynamics DT 250 pads. No more black shit sprinkles all over my ears and neck, lol. Worth every bit of $18 and loads more comfyness.

Shame the cans suck eh?

My gf bough me the 700's (I know, I know) but I gotta fess up. They beat my 7506 hands down, both for general listening and critical listening in production.

Shure seems like a good option for iPod earphones if you wanna try a higher end range of earphones.

I only see teenagers wearing skullcandy headphones. Most hipsters I see usually have 7506's or better.

WAY more than skullcandy, I see ppl with Dr. Dre headphones everywhere. Wish I just had money to throw away like that. So far the various Sony models have produced the best sound for my techno & house.

The other day I saw Lady GaGa earbuds in the store. Why?????

i picked up a pair of Shure E5C's last year and i will never turn back. the sound is amazing but totally worth it even though the price is a bit on the high side.
