I think he's implying the old stereotype that strippers always seem to be working their way through a psych degree.

Hmmm, I didn't know that was the idea. Seems ridiculous, but whatever.

Anyway, I am in first year and I have completed all the mandatory classes I can take up to this point... so I am just taking random shit for interest sake.

I don't really care a whole lot... just need to get through this so I can get my Bachelor of Education.

It's funny how all the Sciences students think they are far more superior to the Arts students (not necessarily directed to you Jenny... unless of course you are of that opinion, in which case, fuck you.)

Haha!

Lol, I don't think that at all. However, I do have to say that I've always noticed a huge gap in the level of thinking between nursing students and students from other programs any time I've taken an elective.

There is definitely a difference between an Arts thinker and a Science thinker... it seems more like abstract/random vs. pure logic/linear sorta thing (best way I can describe it). Either way, I don't think one is smarter than the other... just different types of intelligence.

Science isn't my thing personally - my way of understanding things is to start with a base and build upon that. I find with Science I get so focused on the things that we "just accept" and I want to understand why... then I completely miss what I should be focusing on. Haha! A prof told me I would make an excellent scientist since that is the quality a scientist must have to make discoveries, but I found it maddening. Not to mention my profound dislike for all things gory, gooey and dead. Was really good with math though... too bad I find it agonizingly boring.

I definitely give props to Science majors though since I most certainly don't have the patience for it. A lot of that shit requires incredible memory too (something I also lack). My poor cousin is in Nursing and although she enjoys Science stuff, she has a memory like a fish and is really struggling. I think that alone would screw me over, even if I did like Science.

I don't know what classes I'm going to take in grad school yet, though. I'll probably just sit around and keep writing this juggernaut I call thesis that is beginning to sprout and become self-aware.

Rarr!!!

I wouldn't say it's linear. Definitely better critical thinkers.
