Most producers dont even bother to record real instruments or even original vocals either for full vocals or even just dub vocals anymore. Thats half the problem right there.

I think part of the problem is people releasing tracks as "DJ Tools / Dance Tracks" first, and "good music" second.
If every song sounds the same, has the same structure, etc - it's easier to be played by less-skilled DJs and more likely to result in higher ratings on beat port/whatever.
Load up the latest Vengeance Tech-House sample CD, cut up a few loops, layer a few effects in from Ableton and slap-on a preset baseline and you have a track that sounds like every other / mixes into every other track out there.

Bingo!
Much of the issue with today's electronic music is the disposable nature of it... new producers churning out paint-by-numbers tracks with little or no personality or originality. It's all about quantity over quality and the primary concern being beatport's charts rather than actually writing a good song that will stand the test of time... on top of that SO MUCH good music is overlooked on beatport because many dj's jump right to the top 100 of each genre.
With today's ease of use and affordable technology there should be NO EXCUSE for using these lame sample/loop cd's (the same ones being used again and again) or for sampling another artists work.
If you really love the music how about learning to play an instrument or two, and using your ears to teach yourself how to CREATE rather than imitate.
