Hah, yeah that track was nice. I didn't care as much for the two follow up tracks at the end, but that track was really good.
Overall, I still want to reserve my opinion for an actual version without promo voiceovers disturbing me every 3-5 minutes. It sounded like an outstanding compilation although not as diverse as At the Controls. My impression is he picked a lot of tracks that had a Holden sound whereas before he picked a lot of different tracks and made them work in a Holden set (if that makes any sense at all which it probably doesn't).
Some of the mixing in this definitely is not the traditional style but it all worked out really well in my opinion. Every mix was melodically structured as opposed to beatmatched so in terms of harmonics and flow it all meshed together in an interesting way.
Still need to hear it though without those voiceovers.
