TRIP PLANNER:

just put in beginning and ending address, then it will give you a map with the route highlighted and detailed directions (including walking) from point A to Point B! Hope it helps someone else.

its in the guide. right below the metro mover map.

i need to move things around next year to make it easier to identify each section. bigger fonts, different colors.

My experience with public transport here is that it runs pretty well until about 8pm, depending on route. In the evening, buses run on a slower frequency and can be considerably off schedule. I waited almost an hour for the Airport Flyer into SoBe around 9pm, and was there at least 10 mins early. Route C is supposed to run every half hour, but while eating at a restaurant on Washington Friday night, I saw one go by at 8:28pm and the next at 8:35pm. Went to the stop 15 minutes later, and waited just short of an hour until a #120 came, which also went to the Omni station.

Of course, there's always taking a taxi as an option, but there's also that feeling that the bus must be coming any minute after waiting so long, and is 1/10 the price of a taxi. When going from SoBe to downtown, my recommendation is to take a bus when it's scheduled to run at least 3x per hour over to Bayside Marketplace. Then you can have dinner/drinks for an hour before taking the Metro Mover or taxi to the club. That's a more enjoyable hour than sitting at a stop on Washington Blvd. watching the bums go by.

i took the c bus one night on friday to go to space
all i have to say is i though the nyc transit system was bad....

people on the bus just looked like they just got out of rehab
they were argueing over their w.i.c food stamps and shit
it was deff sad
but the funniest moment was when some crackhead gets on and goes to the bus driver "yo i dont got no fare, all i got is a container of potato salad you want to buy it?" the bus driver told him just forget it and get on

the c bus was runing like every 15 min on friday night, but then on sat night when i wanted to take it again me and my friends waited like 30 min and there was no bus in site so we just took a cab
