PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE educate yourself on it. It's literally a matter of life and death with your pooch.

That's great advice.

The same thing happened to my Doberman / German Shepherd. Luckily, my sister is a vet technician and noticed it within a hour. He was rushed over to the clinic for surgery and were able to save him.

From what I understand, Danes are the ones that are most suseptible to it. 50/50 chance that your dog gets bloat, and if you don't know how to deal with it then...

Most dane owners carry a bloat kit every where they have the dog. I'm definitely in the process of putting a couple together for Axel, for the car and for home. He's no where near as deep chested as Naxton but it's better safe than sorry.

Meeko at 5 months

He's still got a lot to learn, and I didn't keep up on the training during the winter, so it's time to go nuts again lol

Be forewarned that German Shepherds drop massive turds.

I have a gold pomeranian-chihuahua named Lola
lap dog my ass
she's fucking hyper, hilarious and very mischievious
At one year old she has also grown to the size of a small Beagle

When I'm older, I want to buy the ugliest, saddest, wrinkliest Basset Hound I can find and call him "Mr. Brightside"
