Another problem with many trance tunes, as with other genres, is the "loudness war", eg record labels using dynamic range compression or "brickwalling", against the artists' will, to make songs sound "louder", but all it does is strip the life out of them.
In some tracks, eg Marronizer - Prosperity, the hypercompression is so severe that it makes the track all but unlistenable, and potentially damaging to your hearing.
