do you honestly expect me to take a G5 to fucking norway if I don't have the proper ingredients for a good time. Jesus. The fuel alone is gonna cost me 10000$. I suppose 5000 if djRann is chipping in.

no its not so expensive here as people think (compared to salaries atleast). one beer (0,5l can) is like 2,5 British Pound Sterling and in a bar its like 5-6. vodka and other higs% liquor is abit expensive though but im staying away from anything but beer. whats expensive here is studiomonitors.

£5-£6 for a beer in a bar is very expensive. In the UK a beer in a bar is somewhere between £2-£3 (maybe up to £4 if its a high end club or fancy bar in the city). Some places will sell cheaper than £2 as well.

I'm sure you can find some low priced bars with guys like you. Anyways, your party sounds lame and I've RSVP'd that I won't be going once you've sent the invitation. Seems like Miley was right. The part'y aint in Norway.

i got the HS80Ms today lol. but i think im returning them, WAAAYYYY too much bass and too little mids is my first impression. but im gonna let them play for a week and see. there are things i definitely like with them which totally lacked in my previous ones so i need to think about it. maybe the hs50 would be better here but im afraid those doesnt have the things i like about the hs80. i was sick of thinking so i had to do something. maybe putting a sock in the bassport will fix the bass-problem but the mids are still too low imo. i really like the bass too, its just too much of it.

Most of that can probably be attributed to your room. Case in point, I have the HS80Ms and I have the exact opposite problem in my room - not enough bass and too much midrange. Do you have bass traps?

move them away from the wall. Also you need some sort of painting for that boring wall. What a buzz kill.

just a little bit. Having them right against the wall will really compound the bass. Also try moving the entire setup a bit to the left, space them out more, and sort of angle them a bit. And the paintings won't do anything other than look pretty. That is the only reason I mentioned them. A white wall isn't really that exciting.

Also, have you adjusted the switches on the back? There are several, including low-cut (100 & 80 Hz) and selectable boost/cut for mids and highs (0 & +/-2dB). Between cutting the lows, and boosting the mids/highs, you should be able to dial something that works for your room.
