This fits quite nicely with what you just said. Here is a recent Lee Burridge interview and this was on of the questions that he was asked lol

4. If u would be forced to play in a club's restroom, what would u play?

Trance, as that music belongs in the toilet.

lol that's funny. I went to Digweed and Lee Burridge was there.

I mentioned to someone I mainly listen to trance and got a hideous, sour-filled face from the dude.. LOL

Stryke killed it!

Mansion does no justice for Hawtin. System is horrible no low ends and the energy in that room blows.

Hopefully Hawtin will be back in a better room

I thought Gaiser had the best set of the night.. He could've played the rest of the night and I would've been happy.

+1, his was the set of the night. Gaiser brought so much energy and banged it out hard at the perfect times. Hawtin was good, but was too slow & downtempo at times compared to what Gaiser played b4 him. And it was nice seeing & hanging with you & Spacemasters ...

I really loved Stryke's warmup set. Ben Klock records sounded immense.

I thought the system was fine if anything it was too loud! Thank god for earplugs. The bass was definitely being pushed a little hard.

Other than that the visuals were pretty damn amazing. Especially at the very end. I would love to see what Ali Dehmerel (sp?) aka Richie's visual guy could do with that room.

I really enjoyed Spastik -> Egypt Egypt at the very end.

I agree the bass over powered the meat and juice of all tracks.

All sets were really good.

Stryke did a awsome job opening.

Gaiser played the best set alllll night, if only he would have started maybe @ midnight would have been perfect.

Hawtin played really good, but really was not into the place or happy to actually play in Miami. Track selection was good, but seemed like he was there just to play and not bringing any energy at all. Plus coming from a banging our gaiser played was hard to top I must add. Also a 2:30 hour set??? WTF?

In conclusion mansion sound system can not pull a techno party or tech house party to save there asses. I think they will stick to house after this party even though it wasnt empty at all.

I agree with Mansion not being able to handle techno parties, LOL, Electric Pickle is by far the best venue IMO for Techno/Minimal
