i feel your pain...ive lost something like 30gb of mp3s dude to various broken raid stripes and HDD crashes....not fun i wanted to kill somone/throw my computer in the pool every time....each time i kicked myself in the arse for not backing up....now i do....to a limited extent but i back up most of my good stuff and the stuff i can survive listeing to while i dl replacements if it ever crashes again. CD-R is pretty easy but if you have the money get an external HDD you can get them at staples 40gb for like $170US or you can get a DVD burner for like $270US which i would LOVE to have cause it would make storage soooooo much easier....i know how you feel but life goes on. oh another thing get widget print dir. you can make lists of every file in a dir. including subdir.s with filename, size, location, helpful to see what you lost and what you want to download again....cause it sucks to lose everything and then be like...I HAD SO MANY GOOD TRACKS, BUT I FORGOT ALL THE NAMES lol. so just be careful backup often. excuse me while i go burn some backup cds
