TA has introduced me to some great new music. I've learned a lot about minimal and tech house, and have grown to like them quite a bit, for instance.

That said, everyone here loves J00F, and that's fine, but I have been introduced to that type of trance before, and it's just not my thing. Just like PVD has produced some great songs and sets, but I just never got into his stuff as much.

My current favorite DJ is Ferry. His Once Upon a Night compilations were my favorites of 2010, along with Richard Durand's ISoS 8. That should shed some light on what I like, and based on what you've heard already I doubt it's surprising.

I used to listen to his sets and ISOS from and think this guys beatmatching is pretty bad (considering he was the worlds number one DJ) but boy can he create beautiful moments.

A lot of his sets up until maybe 2005 are just magic. He knows how to create this 'journey' that trance heads like to think of. Throw in his productions - pre 'Elements of Life' and you cant argue that he isn't a very good DJ/Producer, if not one of the best.

But at the end of the day you only like what you like. Its just musical taste or opinion. Everybody has one and they don't have to be the same. I don't care much for Ritchie Hawtin but for everyone like me there is someone who does.

Tiesto is already the best if you only count his Wildlife (Magik 6 was recorded on a Wildlife party), Solo and Invited parties in the Netherlands. Every night was legendary!!!!
