Well if its an infant, i would advise that you either sit in the back with the infant, or bring someone along who can take care of the baby boy. I have taken up infants a few times, and all those times the parent sat in the back. Most of the time, the flight went smooth. Once however, the baby got scared i think, and started crying "loud".. lol. When i was talking to air traffic control, they could hear the crying noise in the background.

With respect to safety, there is nothing to worry about. Bring a nipple to suck on for the baby. Most of the time, during descents, the infants might experince pain in their ears due to increasing air pressure. Usually a nipple helps. I will try my best to keep the descents gradual, its one thing i shout at my students when they start making rapid descents. Also, in the aircraft, there is alot of noise. Im not sure if ear plugs are good for baby's, i will have to find that out for you. Some hearing protection will also be good. If the baby has a cold, then we cant take the baby flying, its not safe. I will think fo some more, but overall, its should be fine

djshan: You seem not to grasp even the most basic principles I've laid out for you.

You claim your career goal is to fly the 777 in the left seat for Air Canada. It's certainly an admirable goal, it's the premier job in Canada, and arguably North America for a pilot.

You then state that you're not in a rush to get here. With the very few captain positions on the 777 at Air Canada, you have to be in the race of your life to get her if you ever expect to see that seat. It just won't be available to you if you're not hired at a young age. I guess you wishing me luck at getting into the left seat of the 777 illustrates this point. Anyone with a sense of how things work would realize that anyone close to the left seat of the 777 is at the youngest, mid 50s. There probably aren't too many 57 year old tranceaddicts.

Its a dream failsafe.... Flying the 777 is the ultimate goal, I am not saying that im 100% sure im going to get it.. The reason im not in a rush to get there is because first of all I dont have that much experience to apply at air canada, and i am sure i wont get the job just like that. I have to go through other "flying" jobs to get experience, prior to getting on with air canada. There isnt only air canada, there is west jet, porter, transat, and so on.... my options are open. Right now, im focusing on upgrading my instructor rating, and then see how things go from there.

I also forgot to mention before, that im planning on designing my businesses in a way where i keep getting income when im going to be forced into getting a flying job with low salary. Most people say they have a uni degree to fall back on in case things dont work out, im a bit different, i have my businesses running on the side.. ( i cant mention details here, sorry )
