im not the kind of person who should have large quantities of wine lying around the only thing that keeps me sober on a school night is limiting myself to 1 bottle in the house.

YankeeBaby, list your favorites!

Last night we tried fortified wines in class (porto, sherry and madiera). DO NOT WANT! Was like drinking vodka and butterscotch.

Yeah, that shit is nasty.

Think I may finally get to the '03 Ducru this weekend. I know I should wait, but fuck. I can just buy another one in 10 years.

Check out wines from the Hunter Valley and Margaret River regions here, they're among the best around.

Don't forget Barossa

Same, Australia & New Zealand have my favorite reds. You can't go wrong with Spain & Argentina either.

i wouldn't say that you "couldn't go wrong" bas.

Argentina makes a few really really quality wines, but after that there is a fuckload of overpriced garbage.

Jackson-Triggs is the best large one
Foreign Affair Winery is the best small one

(I live and work in that area)

Also

My fave white is a cheap mellow called Folonari (has to be the Soave)

Best red would have to be Wolf Blass (Grey Label- Cabernet Sauvignon)
