To me that seems completely unnecessary. The difference between a good male cut and a bad male cut is a lot smaller than for females. Apart from that, forty bucks...fuck. I used to bitch at my hairdresser for charging me $20.
I don't hate fresh haircuts too much, but the same thing definitely applies to my shoes purchases. I always hate the new pair for the first month and think that the previous pair was the best ever. Cycle repeats.
I more so have trouble with the style. As montana said, I've pretty much had the same haircut my entire life. I wanted to change it up a while ago, and furious googling for examples to show the hairdresser only bought up pictures of horrible cuts on douchey celebrities like Nick Lachey and David Beckham. Also I'm too lazy/not faggy enough to do my hair regularly anyway. Last time I used product was about ten years ago, I think.
