A lot of it is clothing and how you carry yourself, too.
If you grew up in suburbs like I did, especially in a "normal" city like Atlanta, so many people just stop advancing socially after college. They still wear the same exact clothes and have the same exact haircuts (if they have hair) that they were rocking 6 years ago, and they have NO idea that they're now behind the times... because they just stop paying attention.
The people who I went to high school with that still look healthy and happy either do what they wanted to do for a living, or are still searching for that with a youthful attitude.
The ones who look crappy are the ones who basically gave up. And like I said, the fact that they have haircuts and clothes from 6-8 years ago makes it worse.
