haha! sweet hit piece. it still doesn't change the facts that TX's policies create a business friendly atmosphere, and is a major job creating engine. California is more resource rich than Texas, and they are in shambles. And, I should add, the article claims some of his success is due to "poaching" businesses from other states. That's such hilarious crap! Companies go where the atmosphere is more inviting... Perry doesn't have to poach, the situation sells itself.

That's why he had huge tax credits and other incentives to bring people to his state and wrote a letter to all the major corporations in my state. For the situation, man.

ahh good point... I do remember that now. Hey whatever works. If California wants to be competitive (or Washington state for that matter), then make your state more business friendly and compete!

Whatever works? I thought it was "RICK PERRY BEST REPUBLICAN ECONOMIST EVER. HE MADE TEXAS AMAZING. AND THROUGH PURE OLD FASHIONED GOOD REPUBLICAN TACTICS."
Oh wait? He did it through huge funds under his control (government stimulus?!?!?!)??
Bahahahahaha. So you say we need less government interference in business and then you give as an example your hero Republican governor who managed to make a ton of jobs in his state by using government money. Fantastic!

My... my hero Republican governor?? Dude you're going overboard there. When I said "whatever works" I was saying there's nothing wrong with offering companies in other states incentives to bring them to Texas. I'll have to double check, but was Perry even able to reject that portion of stimulus money? Anyway, having no state income tax (the very definition of less govt. interference) is HUGELY attractive for companies... that's something that will get them to move for the long term, not a 1 time incentive.

Perhaps, but if he really is creating jobs for his state, I may consider voting for him next year, if he even runs. I'm so sick of this "spending cuts" and "tax cuts" crap. I need a Pres who's interested in domestic job creation.
And I can assure you I would never vote for a politician to the WH from our so called "Golden State." Thanks for nothing Arnold.

But look man, the eagle is ATTACKING her! she must be an enemy of freedom!

Arnold talked a big game at the start, quoting Milton Friedman and shit, but acquiesced like most politicians and turned into yet another big government spender leaving a wake of destruction in his path.

haha... nah man Lews asked me what I thought about the current GOP crop and I voiced my displeasure for the most part. We're just talking a little about Rick Perry right now.
