went from iphone > BB 9000 > Android > iphone > BB 9900 and i think ill stay.

Ive jail-broken those iphones, rooted the droid, but in the end, i still wasn't satisfied. Plus I've come to realize that while apps n 'hacking' is cool and all, it still didn't serve me functionality speaking. I faced the facts, I text wayyyy more then I talk, plus I drive rather then taking public transportation (no need to play touch screen games etc).

In the end, I think people got off the BB bandwagon because their devices started getting bogged down hence people complaining it was slow.

I once saw a senior executive say in an email "I love my new iphone. I miss typing with the Blackberry keyboard, but I'll get used to it". Sure sure, say whatever makes you feel better about your decision to have a less-than-a-blackberry typing experience.

I felt it was an example of mass marketing telling people what they "need".

I look forward to the new Blackberry OS10. Based on my experience with the excellent Playbook OS, it should have the coolness, fluidity, horsepower and enough apps to protect its _EXISTING_ customer base (me included), which is what will help it to grow.
