The subject of the sentence is capacitor - singular - therefore that should be 'is' giving, not 'are' giving. Unless you're prepared to start paying for these lessons on how to properly use the English language, I'm content to just ignore your future posts.

However a final thought, assuming that fuculated is a bad thing, putting discon in front of it suggests that my capacitor is putting out its calculations in the proper manner. By now!

More so than if the same were to happen with Guetta, but I think the cons of a monopoly outweigh the pros, and what I'm suggesting would go some way to preventing such monopolies arising.

Well I think a monopoly is bad for the scene because there are too many wannabes out there trying to emulate the top dog, and if the top dog hold its place, it could impede originality, slowing the evolution of the genres.

I think an Armin monopoly would be better than a Guetta one, because he actually DJs, the music is more to my taste, he isn't getting most of his votes from pop fans (which if they vote due to liking his pop, not DJing, detracts from the aim of the poll), he won't encourage DJs to think they can just make hit records and fake it, and he isn't sending out the message of make pop and get super rich.

Probably more reasons if I wanted to spend more than a couple of minutes considering it.

The DJ Mag Poll is a joke. Indeed half the top 100 DJs would likely say so. I have formed a list of changes that need to happen for a credible poll, and if this thing gains momentum the next poll would shift the balance between the DJs with and without marketing teams working 24/7, for months on end. A poll driven by ability and passionate fans, not how much marketing money can be ploughed into it!

Please have a read, and let me know your thoughts.

There's this site called Resident Advisor; they have their own top 100 DJ poll. Granted, you won't find trance there, but you will find a collection of DJs on that poll that would be considered "underground."

The problem in the world of EDM today is that trance is like a bad word. If you let it be known that you're a fan of trance, you get looked at as if you have a dick plastered on your forehead. And quite frankly, for good reason. I went to the ASOT tent at Ultra this past March, and I was quite frankly embarrassed. More fruitiness in there then the Skittles factory. Left and went to the Ibiza tent and watched actual good DJs throw it down.

But anyways, the good trance DJs (Orkidea, Solarstone, etc) are so overshadowed because the mainstream guys come off as fruity gayness. So the entire genre is dismissed by fans of other genres.

For someone with a cause you want to rally people toward, your approach seem to be quite counter-productive. Furthermore, you don't really seem to understand what you're talking about. Finally, Howard Stern has already done a "Vote For the Worst" scheme with American Idol. It lead to 6 more weeks of Sanjaya and a judge's seat on America's Got Talent. It certainly didn't dismantle anything worth dismantling.

Well, if Guetta is getting more votes from the pop fanbase what's the problem? He plays pop music, people and television likes it. Perhaps this is the era of Pop Music and we all have to deal with it (drama ).

If Armin's music is more of your taste, ok, i respect that, but don't try to be pretentious and spread that Armin's music is better than Guetta's music, that's a matter of taste.

It's not wrong Guetta being the most popular DJ in the world, you just don't like it.
