Nicolas Cage is a fucking joke. How on Earth was he ever cast as an action hero? He does not have any of the aura required as an alpha male badass, but instead the baleful look of a meekly helpful bank clerk stuck in a loveless marriage. No surprise that by far the best role I've ever seen from him was as a middle aged sap in The Weather Man.

He was awesome in all those. But he's had more shitty movies than good ones. Matchstick Men, as i've already pointed out, is his best.

Haha, it's true but this is why I like Cage. I enjoyed movies like The Weather Man, Lord of War, and Adaptation because it was Cage being Cage.
