correct me if i'm wrong but, i don't think there's a foot crossing on the qnsboro. just a bike path, however, given the circumstances, i'm sure there'll be plenty foot traffic
edit: In addition to what Chaska said, if you're coming from Queens..the ONLY LIRR service, which is from Jamaica to Atlantic Terminal Brooklyn (hourly), would be your best option getting to bk (and any party for that matter).
