Man, I remember J' utterly ripping into that Guetta CD at TC. I heard some of it and though some may argue against, his pop sellout material was far superior that trash.

...I wonder if J' kept it.

Would anyone here actually drop Marionette at peak hour? I'd play that shit at 7am.

Woony, I luv ya and all, but you are pretty wrong often in this thread.

Neo Trance = Border Community, Kompakt, and so on.

Marionette could fit in a "modern techno" set,

Minimal is way more than what was in vogue 6 years ago.

Your age is showing

Daniel Bell? Robert Hood?

It was just a promo in a slipcase. I've got it somewhere, don't throw any of my CDs anyway. That compilation is one of the worst things I've ever heard though. It was from the era when they were all stumbling towards making radio-friendly "EDM" but just being horrifically loud and crass.

Think with Border Community it's important to specify the era. Before they went ahead making that glitch shit. Are we talking ?

borderline. it is not a genre, but an extremely popular buzzword from that era. think of trance without arps.

The hell? Were did I say that? I'm a massive fan of Hood and I appreciate Bell's shit. My point is that Marionette is minimal techno because that's what that type of stuff was historically called around that time.
