I'm sorry, and maybe this is an insensitive thing, but what the fuck is it with Americans and prescription drugs?
So fucking pathetically lame. Like "ooooh, I got this from a doctor, it's going to make me feel a bit numb for a couple of hours. I can cut myself and not feel it bro".
Some people wear it like a fucking badge of hardness. "Yeah man, in rehab for the 3rd time due to oxy".
My brain is going "so you're too much of a pussy or too suburban to do recreational drugs but rehab is cool?"
Not there's anything cool about recreation drugs, all get boring after a while, but the prescription is just so embarrassing.
Honestly, some people in this thread like "I've took em, it was cool, but I'm past that now". Good for you. Well done. Did you do crazy shit like drive past a police station in your purple '94 mustang while on them? Badass. I bet you didn't even blink.
Seriously, I don't get it and AFAIK, it's really only america that has this fascination. I know it may be bored kids but man at least do something that you won't be embarrassed to tell your grand kids.
They're shit anyway. Great you feel a bit floaty. A bit numb. "Other world"? Give me a fucking break.
I know it stemmed from kids in suburbia raiding their parents med cabinet but it's just so pathetic and the worst thing is they are terrible for you. I have one friend who got in a car accident, doc gives him tons of oxy and before he knows what's going on he's in rehab. At 18, never even done drugs before.
