I prefer the original mix! The breakbeats sound much better than just a normal bassline!

btw, how dumb is Paul van Dyk He said that he cant speak out the name of Sashas Album. Airdrawndagger! Airdrawndagger! Airdrawndagger!

No offense to PvD lovers (I love him alot as well) and dont take it too personally on this one but I think Wavy Gravy is such a perfect track that remixing it (or even reworking on it to fit into a 4/4 set) will be an insult to the track. Yeah he put basslines in there and stuff and made it sounds more PvD but let's face it, listen to both version of the track and tell me with a straight face that the PvD mix is better. If it aint broke dont fix it.. that's my personal view, because I heard the rework and I was totally disappointed with it. Maybe PvD didnt intend for it to be BETTER than the original in the first place, so lets give it to the man, eh.

Funny how when Tiesto does the ol' "add a bassline" trick to Gatex he gets roasted but when PvD does it he's God's gift to trance.

Seriously though, I think it's an amicable rework. Kinda drains the euphoria out of the original, unfortunately. I wouldn't complain if he played it.

Yea i'll second this comment. I'm listening to it for the first time now, and damn, he's kinda cheesed it up a bit too much. The cheap drumroll at 1:52 in this sample just makes me cringe. The original is so amazing as there's so many layers of sound to surround you, but this remix/rework is so thin with its cheap uhn-tss sound and doesn't do the original justice. I think my tastes have simply changed too much, im sure if i checked this out a year ago i would be loving it. Sorry PvD fans, but in my opinion, Paul van Dyk has done a shite job on this one
