My husband brought home an SNES Classic on the weekend. That is all.
I wanted to pick up the NES Classic when it released, but I wasn't going to pay more than retail. Fuckin' Nintendo...producing a hundred damn units and acting surprised when demand outstripped supply.

is this where i post your gaming stats for the last "not really a gamer" fortnight?
I mean, does it count if the two only games I play are Civilization (because I can do other stuff while I take turns) and Candy Crush Saga? But, yeah, I must've easily clocked 24 hours or so on Civilization VI last week... all because Malcolm Turnbull, or whoever the in-game Aussie prime minister is, keeps trying to flatten all my cities.
I'm a hippie, goddammit, I just want my citizens to go to rave parties and develop high-tech bongos

It's not really that fun, but I can't stop trying to beat the damn computer
One... more... turn...

Exactly! The thing about Civilization VI and Civilization V, however, is that there comes a point everybody else starts ganging up on you when you're winning, so even if you're a runaway leader, it's quite boring when every other turn someone declares war against you.
I mean, imagine this in real life:
US - Yay, we're now the world's leading economy!
Mex and Can - Time to taste muerte, you hoser!
