Here in Toronto Canada, that hip-hop and R&B shit seems to be the most predominant, as far as electronic, I would say house/progressive.

over here in dallas...the djs here specialize in house and mainstream trance (IvD, DJ Sammy, Dee Dee, etc). kinda disappointing (for me anyways)

The germas have a big elctronic music scene but nobody in germany knows that. most people here are into hiphop and pop music...
looking at electronic music most are into cheesy cheap idiot commercial trance stuff and "Scooter" "aquagen" and those shit....

the main real genre the germans like is real techno like chirs liebing or dj rush play...It's a big pity that not many germans like trance music, although the godfather of trance Paul van Dyk is german...
