I'm planning with some friends to go clubbing in the UK for a weekend in September. This maybe has been asked for a couple of times but i couldn't find any good answer in this tread.

Which area is situated the best for clubbing and "shopping". We'll probably arrive on Friday morning and leave Sunday/Monday. So meanwhile we'll have to entertain ourselves during the day. Maybe visit some quality shops and records stores. At night we wanna go clubbing, a good trance party and maybe the other day some trance/progressive/house.

We all know where the main clubs are located, but which city is the most neutral to stay at and not far from travelling to the clubs and city.

Hotel + London + NYE = Fucking Expensive! You're probably best off finding a hostel I'd have thought.

last NYE i went to Brixton Academy the night was not bad loved tall pall midnight set.
