And about goa evolving from eurodance... no mate, it didn't. I've studied the history of goa and, as far as I know, eurodance had nothing to do with it. Here's a document about its origins:

I just dont hear the EBM influence, esp in the modern stuff, I know the really early goa from 1990-92 was influenced by EBM, but there was a sharp change in style in the mid 90's that doesn't sound at all like EBM. In fact I've heard three distinct samples on California Sunshine albums that are also on the first Magic Affair album. Coincidence, perhaps, but I think lots of people would be way too embarrassed to ever admit being influenced by eurodance, cause eurodance is like bastard child music..
And yes those tunes are acid techno, acid junkie said they were, I said I didn't like the acid trance samples anywhere near as much. Jon the Dentist, eww.
