I still like Tiesto's productions, remixes & mixed CDs...but i won't go see him spin. IMHO, Tiesto's better suited to be a clown or just a producer. I used to like him a lot until I saw him spin live a couple of years ago....and he's been getting worse & worse. What a joke. Prime examples of his antics (if any of you were there, you KNOW what I'm talking about):
Tiesto @ World, NYC - At one point of the night, he was standing on
TOP of the booth (ON TOP!!) doing his JESUS pose. *I'm a SUPERSTAR! LOVE ME!* 
Tiesto @ Godskitchen, Amnesia Ibiza - Same thing, 'LOOK AT ME, I'M JESUS' POSE ALL NIGHT. No direction in his set, just mixing songs together, concentrating on posing all night, trainwrecked 2Xs. Garbage set, Picotto blew him out of the water that night.
Tiesto @ Ultra '02 Miami - He comes on and jumps around waving his arms in the air like a clown and his jumping actually makes the records skip! Twice! (LOL!) in front of 30,000 people. What a joke. Nedless to say, people were laughing at him.
When he was done with his circus act, PvD came in to close Ultra out. All business with German precision, he embarassed Tiesto in the worst way and took the crowd to a whole new level. A mass of 30,000+ people, pumping their fists in the air, completely into the music and dancing their asses off, screaming P-V-D! What a sight.
If some of you have been fortunate enough to attend any of Paul's parties @ Twilo; @ Amnesia, Ibiza; @ Space, Miami; @ Avalon, Boston; @ Arc, NYC, you know what I'm talking about when I say 'you'll never see a better vibe or a better party with any other dj'. Crowd - DJ interaction at it's best...through the music not antics. Nobody moves and connects with a crowd like Paul. NO ONE
