eyy peepz..
back after a long layoff due to exams nshit..
will get back to that shortly.. so i'll be off for another 2 weeks.. but i'm peepin in here every now and then to check out whats up..

nyway..
onto the topic:
House is fukin awesome man.
These are the MAIN forms of house:
Progressive/Hard/Tribal/tec/Funky house

you prolly don't know much bout them.. and in fact u could be listening to LOTS of house.. simply not knowing that it is house.
Sasha/Diggers Northern Exposure & Communicate were progressive house. Their laetst work (Digweeds GU) is Tribal-tec House (my favourite genre of music)
Funky house.. ppl confuse it alot.. and those who confuse it the most are the guys in record shops. They classify Funky house as this amazing beats track that makes you dance all nite.. and some classify it as belonging to these 80s disco tunes mixed into a housey beat (the shite type). The first classification is amazing, and for me personally, I like that type of funky house plus Tribal House.
I listen to prog stuff every now and then, and thanks to tu_face my interest in it is growin
but I can rip a couple nice funky choonz to u guys, plus some tribal stuff off my vinyl collection... and trust me u'll love it.
House is the bomb..

laterz

Nice post. Flexibility is the operative word. I wouldn't mind if you recommended me something artists/titles for house you listen to. I've realized for a long time I need to expand my musical tastes. Variety for the taste buds is very good. Cause sometimes I can just get sick of trance and need a diversion. It was just hard for me to find good house music.

For everyone else who thinks House sucks the big one, well gotta learn to appreciate the different sound and themes of trance and house. Cuz then you realize House is not just in the ballpark as Trance. Its not even in the same sport.

like House has more sex appeal (bump and grind) while tRance can be more sensual and romantic. Two different games, two different macks! get it? ahahah

in truth both great genres need each other, to push the limits and beyond the sound and spirit of this subculture.

Personally, if i was a producer i would listen to both, so i have a solid foundation to make music.
