In defense of TOTA in general, I'd like to say that part of the flame wars may just be due to the fact that we have so many active members. I mean, there are some times when it's just not possible for every single person in a huge group to get along with every single other person. Look at the other Canadian forums, most of the threads fit on one page, it's like hardly anyone cares. So I give everyone credit for at least having something to say.

(Credit from DigiNut is redeemable for 2.5 pesos at participating Wal-Mart superstores)

Having said that though, I do think we should respect each others' opinions. I think sometimes it's a cry for attention, sometimes we feel like we're being ignored (well, I do sometimes), so the temptation is there to incite rage in other people just to get a response. But, resist it, negative attention isn't better than none at all.

i agree with ya DigiNut .. TOTA is getting a lot bigger now and not something that's possible to police and enforce. if someone makes a bad comment, i'll just tell them i disagree with it and exercise some self-restraint..
