i think its just a matter of what works for you. if you have had it for a year and had no compliants then it obviously does. most things that everyone says is out of personal experience and most importantly personal opinion.

personally.. i went from using my xone62 to a djm500 and i honestly didnt like how the headphone cue monitor sounded... i honestly didnt think it sounded very clear.

different people like different things really and just becuase i say that it doesnt sound clear to me doesnt mean that it is infact not clear or that it shouldnt be good enough for you anymore.

as far as your system goes, there is always gonna be a weak link. i always fall in to this trap where theres always one thing that brings down the quality of my system...but if i upgrade it then there will always be another.

as long as you can mix a good demo or cd or keep the crowd moving..thats all that really matters. it doesnt matter if you are using a 10 dollar mixer or 10,000 dollar mixer...or anything else for that matter.

Ok firstly, theres this big dispute about what mixers belong in clubs, well since the person is asking about Rane and A&H, he might not want to DJ in a club, but he wants quality.

Secondly, I just bought a Xone:62 for myself - I previously bought a DJX400, but I never really used it so I consider the Xone my "first" actual mixer - pretty good, huh?. Im waiting for it to be delivered - I so anxious to start blowing out my stereo speakers. And for $800 (free shipping), you cant go wrong.

bottom line is both mixers he mentions are good boxes.

what really matters is style feel and features.

does it do what you want, in a manner you can work with, and does it "feel" good?

go try them out. your mixing style will determine which mixer you like better.

just about anything a&h or rane puts out will be of great quality.

I can personally say the a&h xone series is awesome - I've played on both the 32 and 62, and own the 32 as my primary mixer. LOVE it.

but I will also say my friend that spins jungle mixes on a rane ttm56 and that's a great box too!

Get the Xone man you wont regret it because of the 4 band EQ and the P&G filter.
