ok my opinion.
1) Freefall, come to the UK FORUM, me and Niteshayde went down there and we've been to Heaven for GC a few times before! The London TA community needs to meet up
On any case, the club is quite crowded, especailly when a big DJ comes in. It was even worse when PvD came back in 2002, and i could barely move! And he didn't play good stuff hehe
As for Tiesto, well this is the 3rd time I've seen him play in the past year, and the feeling is odd. He doesn't particularly dissapoint me, but neither does he make me particularly happy. I mean, its great i enjoyed the night, the tunes were fine, and the atmosphere was ok (bar the sweaty fat men who have the urge to take off there bloody shirts )
His mixing was fine, and he read the crowd quite well i think, as he didn't play "TUNE" after "Tune" but let the euphoria of the crowd fade a bit before putting on something more banging. Some of his stuff was a bit more proggy/teky, but everyone knows he has changed his style now, so what more do u expect?
We didn't get to see much of Hardwick, but i think he was playing some more House orientated stuff?!! And when halliwell came on he started off on some hard stuff (dunno any of the first few tunes he played), but then moved on to more uplifiting/epic stuff like Solarcoaster and Beautiful Together! Not that i'm complaining of course, but i expected him to play some REAL hard stuff and do scratching as well, but i was pleasantly surprised!
Either way, i'm probably going back there to see Ferry and Nu-NRG. I hope they don't play the same stuff at GC that they did at Love PArade!
Freefall, get your arse in the UK Forum!
