I'm sorry, what the fuck thread are you reading?

Sasha and James Holden did Bloodlock. We were talking about BT. And were you trying to say that Bloodlock is like HOUSE? WTF! hahah That is by definition trance.

Yeah, I agree. I hope he plays some trance at least....wouldn't it be fucking phenomenal if he threw in Flaming June, Godspeed or Dreaming? I hope he does.....though, is that possible with a "live performance"? I don't really know. I'm still not sure what is meant by a live digital remix performance. Is it anything like what the Infected Jews.... I mean Infected Mushroom did at Labour of Love in the GUV?

Thanks.

Ummm....Trance, it's defintely not. Sasha (and for that matter Holden) have never produced a trance track...they have always been progressive, and if anything bloodlock does lean towards the progressive house/breaks side then trance.

It depends on what your definition of trance is. BY MY OWN personal definition James Holden plays and produces TRANCE MUSIC as does Sasha! Its light and airy, atmospheric, melodic and uplifting.

What some people call "trance" (ie. Corsten/Tiesto/Gielen/AVB style stuff) I call euro/poppy-trance...!

PVD is cool because hes GERMAN! lol...

Although at times he does get cheesey (live and productions) I still dont think id lump him in with those aforementioned names...! He seems to be more varied in his productions and his sets...dropping breaks/electro/house/techno/prog etc etc...!

And hes a SICK FUCKING MIXER too. Way better than any of those aforementioned dj and thats why I STILL LOVE HIM after all of these years.

IMO!

A perfect example of this is

paul_van_dyk-live_at_hr-xxl_clubnight-dab-03-01-2003

Housey, breaky, techy, proggy and melodic, with some cheesey moments...!

A wicked set IMO!

Why are you arguing with me? I was quoting TranceGeek, who first of all was talking about the wrong dj because he didn't even read the posts in the thread.

The fact that you say "Trance, it's defintely not" makes me wonder what the hell I've been listening to all these years. Sasha has never produced a trance track? hahahahaha

XPANDER YOU MORON!

Buddy, you're on the wrong msg board. You have no idea what "progressive breaks" means.

sucks eh? Tiesto is god, and let me explain to you why... he is the only dj that you will ever experience that "journey" type feel with... oakie used to have it for a while, but not anymore... second, he incorporates so many styles into his set its not even funny... start listenin' to his sets again mang, give the dude a chance!! GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!!

but pfft, you're croatian, what do you know...

On this board? Yea right. It's the same kid shit every week, my music is better than yours.

(btw I agree with you, I just keep my mouth shut, things are a lot more productive when I just roll with the ta consensus)
