Well if any of you were mature enough you just let it go.. G-Money? Deaththreats? LoL get a fucking life....Now back to the topic at hand...I gotta say i have mixed on a rane for bout 2 years....well anyway i just sold the Rane and purchased a DJM-600. Is the quality good? Yes. Are the Effects good? Yes.....would you notice a differnce in sound quality vs allen & heath/rane/stanton vrm-10 in a home enviroment/studio? Yes but the difference is sooo negligible that the untrained ear wouldn't even notice. Not to mention each mixer realy has its own unique sound...The faders on the Rane and a&h are much better, but if you need a smooth fader to mix properly you shouldnt realy be mixing....And on another note i think the rane rotary mixer has the best tone, but then again i havent used the new a&h one...sooo its all probaly just personal preference....All and all if you want a realy nice mixer that can realy do it all the pioneer is the way to go... If you wanna be a snob and use "only what the pros use, in a realy realy big club enviroment" get the a&h or rane or stant you wont regret it...
PS: The rane and the pioneer(not sure bout the stanton) both have effects loops while the A&h doesnt not....I had a realy hard time picking the mixer i wanted but then i tried each of them out the and i found the pioneer to suit me...Again i cant stress this enough the pioneer has realy good sound quality...and the only person who may notice a difference is a true audiofile running a realy realy good amp/speaker combo.

You people are fooled to believe this mixer is gonna satisfy your "pioneer" craving. How long have you been in the music industry???
Don't you people realize YOU GET WHAT YOU F******G PAY FOR!!!!!!!!!
The price of this mixer tells me that this mixer is a piece of SHIT period. I don't even want to see the specs because for $270 you can't even get the raw materials(ie pots, faders, preamps, ect)to build a decent mixer from scratch.
I can't wait to see how many idiots end up buying that steaming piece of shit. I guess the steam billowing off this dung pile has made alot of berhinger fans.hahahahahah |
With a iggnorant, Derogatory post like this, I could tell that you know jack shit.......And probably could tell the difference from one mixer to the next...And I bet you reply with my post in quotes saying how you have mixed on all the best mixers and your ears have perfect pitch.. And you can define the most minute change in tone...

Your post shows how pea brained you are. You try and stereotype me like the bragging bullshitter you are!!!
the fact is you aint gonna get jack shit for $270 so go dream on somewhere else, check under your pillow or wait till santa come next year.
BTW chances are I have owned more DJ, Studio, Band and sound reinforcement equipment than you can even name. as for my ears??? they have prob. been listening to music longer than youve been alive
BTW is that all you want is to diss me???? or can you tell me how $270 Chinese board will perform to near the quality of a $2000 - $3000 mixing console.
Or have you not graduated from grade school and still believe money grows on trees.
you are the first one to diss me on this site so back up your trash talk.
Piss off you little dung head |
Ok well lets see if your music expeiences out do mine im 20 years old my father was a proffessor at the university of miami, in music theory. I started playing sax when i was 5.. proceeded to the play double reed instruments in middle school(bassoon/ oboe)....Oh and i started playing the piano at about 8..Well that backs up my musical ability... And as for cost...Well price dont mean shit ya know how many cheep guitar pedals i own that have their own unique sound? Alot. And if you need a 2000dollar mixer to sit in your room on some small monitors...well thats just a waste cuzz the normal ear cant realy tell...And you proved everything i said. You people are sooo predictable. As far as equipment goes yeah its great you may have owned a lot of gear......but its all a waste unless you know how to use it...Ive owned prolly bout 20 instruments.. far as studio gear...well since i decided not to major in music... i dont realy have much cept for a few guitars(gibson les paul studio, 67' fender strat), Bassoon(shrieber sp?), Kurzweil PCX(its much for space saving then having a upright), yamaha dx7, Logic 5+ a few soft syths..Also own a Sax, flute and a violin(i realy wanted to learn but never had the time to fit it in)
