Anyway, I'll summarize my unposted post ;-)

-Most of the trance that i heard yesterday struck me as rather primitive...for the exception of the last set.(later about that) Listened to jungle on the way to the event - when got inside the venue, was stunned...d&b is so much more fulfilling! Took forever to get into the mood...
-Majority of people didn't really seem into it...(Crowd at SC4 was so much more involved and hype throughout the whole party - more people dancing, more BETTER dancers, total insanity...) I must say I'm disappointed in ya, tranceheads!
-Statements about "cracked-out asians" - fucking BS, I was "sober" at the party(recently I only drink @ events) and "non-asians" were just as cracked out(like @ any other event...), so whoever brings up those kinda topics may shove their "holier than thou" attitude where the sun doesn't shine...And sup with all the thug-talks? Everybody was very friendly, I haven't had a single problem with any1; met tons of sexy azn girls and few amazing dancers...bout time for people to stop bitching out on all asian "issues" concerning Viva...grow the fuck up!
-Johan Gielen - nothing special. IMO - lotsa old and overplayed tracks, he really didn't stand out at all...
-Very last set (Oliver?) - totally amazing set, exactly what was needed...I discovered that I haven't lost all love for trance quite yet. Hard and original, mind blowing fucking set! No words to describe it, a definite gem...all yesterday's djs put together didn't even come close to the final performer..wicked shit!
Big up to Temporal Rhythm, management, staff and security...and girls-searchers- take it easy with the merchandize, i'm planning to have kids in the future, ya know? ;-)

Its taken me awhile to figure out what I was going to say in this thread.. but here it is. Hartec and Gielen rocked my world last night!! They played the most amazing tracks. I could recognize 1/2 of them.. as TAW.com is blaring 10 hours a day on my computer.. but I couldnt actually ID the tracks *embarrassed look*.

Who is this Danielle chick? Older than me? She still needs to be a TA member before she can 'dethrone' me of my senior citizen reign. Speaking of, I'm proud to say Ninjapimp is of my age group (29). Such a fukin' cool guy!

I just wanna say, I've been watching this Trance Energy DVD Johan gave me last nite, and hearing sooooo many tracks he played last nite are on there. Opening track of "Greece 2003" says it all...... I'm tempted to just stay home &watch the video & dance in my living room, instead of heading to the Guv tonite. Ah well! I know what I can do when I get home....

All I can say is wow! I thought every DJ ripped it up. Special props to Johan. This was the first time I have seen him and it was amazing. It was also very nice to see Mark Oliver spin something other than progressive. Good job.

Being fairly new to Toronto, I came from Calgary, this was my first time to Viva and I though that the club itself was awesome. One of the best light shows I have ever seen. As for sound it was great too. I think that the volume was excellent. Ear plugs are there for those of you who dissagree with me. The size of the club and the layout was also good. Only down fall I can think of is that there needs to be more light on the DJ.

I do agree that having all the 40 year olds all sketched out isn't the greatest thing. However, it's still better than Calgary where you get all these asians how sit in the middle of the dance floor.

It was great meeting all you TA's for the first time. Unfortunately, I don't remember most of your names. Maybe after Ultra Spin tonight it will stick in.

Johan's set: SO much energy coming from the music and the dude himself! Great dj.

M Oliver: his set basically lighted a match up my ass..couldnt stop moving! fuckin ripped the place apart and woke us alllllll up! The guy always delivers!

Crowd: Parties with TA's are always good!!

Too many to give shoutouts to, glad to see the familiar faces & to have met new ones.

Uh.. i don't know what to say, i'm not that good in reviews and my brain is not working quite well after last night but it was GrEaT, amasing, probably, one of the nights i'll remebrer for the rest of my life!! Light, sound outstanding as always.

Very friendly croud, met lots of you TA's guys i never seen before. Though some people think i'm huge ,but i hope i didn't scare anybody.
