your right mate, harder music is all i have ever listened to (yes even b4 '98, when ppl think everything started) and i agree sum of the stuff that non hard trance fans will hear, stuff like scot project, s.h.o.k.k, cosmic gate etc... theyre are the normal run of the mill hard trance. i too was a massive scot project fan, until he started turniong out the same crap he is doing now. i find that s.h.o.k.k arnt innovative anymore, yeah they havr theyre style, but it just dont cut the mustard anymore. And cosmic gate i have never liked, pure tacky boringness IMO.
like you sed, there is a big fan base for HT, and its the same as any genre, you gotta dig deep to get the best of it.
The stuff i listen to is hard trance, hardstyle, hard acid trance and acid techno.... and none of it has a single shred of cheeese in it.
It really pisses me off to see narrow-minded comments on sumthing that has really not been explored enough, especially when its a style that is just as saught after and just as worthy as your boring AvB shit
