they already have them, and hell didn't break loose.
yes nothing constructive, first part of the century under colonial rule by Ottoman/French rule yay! Then second part entangled in the Arabic/Israeli conflict (like every other arabic nation)
and then invade Lebanon, yes you sound like a desperate Lebanese. May I remind you that the lebanese govt asked for Syrian intervention to end the mess of civil war you lebaneses got yourself into. Moreover the Baath party in power considers Lebanon as part of Syria, so off course they're staying.
and there was 6 wars, the last one not officialy over. All were lost thanks to the American support
we'll see |
Malek, why are you protecting Syria so much? I am Lebanese, and if you have a problem with it, then fly your ass over here and tell me to my face, otherwise, keep it shut. Secondly, Lebanon is NOT PART of Syria. Lebanon is a completely indepedant state. Syria INVADED Lebanon under false pretenses...are you so fucking naive?

ok, i understand ur lebanese, and like some others in Lebanon, u don't appreciate having the syrian army and having pics of the syrian pres. and all... now, i don't want to have a huge arguement over this, but it is very well know that if the syria had not interfered and entered lebanon, things would have been much worse. ppl would have ended up killing eachother completely.
right now, the syrian army has dramaticaly reduced it's presence, and syria isn't as 'up in lebanon's business' as it used to....so chill
I don't know when was the last time u visited Lebanon, but i was there last summer.... and it's simply amazing how fast Beirut was able to rebuild itself. as u prolly know, beirut is even reffered to as a 'mini paris' or the 'paris of the ME' ..either one????
anyway.....don't go around acting like Syria freakin 'INVADED' Lebanon as if they were trying to kill everybody! ok?
just chill... take a pill... (u like that huh?!!!!)

thats rich, coming from someone who seems to spend endless hours typing out long essay-like responses to the same issues, over and over and over again. i mean, i start reading your posts, and then i think, why fucking bother, so i skip to the last paragraph and realise YOU'RE MAKING THE SAME FUCKING POINT THAT YOU'VE MADE SINCE THE DAWN OF TIME ITSELF.
french arrogance and general fagotry has obviously affected the canadian populace to the extent that i dont know which and which, and keep having these crazy thoughts that the french-canadian flag is the one thats completely white. either that or you already know you're fucking wrong about the whole deal and need to REITERATE FOR THE 101ST TIME just to keep reassuring yourself that you, sitting in a chair behind the screen, is a MASTER of international politics, one whom the world should listen to. as if we give a fuck anymore what canucks think.
ive been fairly sedate lately, just letting things run, hoping to see threads with a bit of VARIATION in DISCUSSION CONTENT and trying to ADD SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE, but it's quite obvious you stupid anti-war fagets have nothing better to do than just sit here and argue the same fucking points again and again. do yourselves a favour and go eat a dick. |
seriously I have no idea what you're talking about. [/serious]
I also don't see why you link me to french canadians or canucks!!? would you like me to say that you are a jew, a zionist and an american butt crack licker?
if I stick to my principles and try to defend them like everyone else in here, why do you then pick on me?
its people like yourself that give such a bad rep to the political forums. Lurking all the time on the board, then from out of nowhere flaming people for no reasons. Either you participate in a constructive way or get the fuck out buddy.

bla bla bla... you seem to have a problem buddy. Why don't you drive up here and I'll tell you to your face. So many stupid lebaneses nationalists like yourself think they're all that. You have hard times admitting you were in deep shit in your civil war. YOUR PRESIDENT asked for Syrian intervention, go read your books buddy.
That other day, at Uni. this christian lebanese tells me. "You are christian why the fuck you have a syrian keychain!!!" Like wtf!?!! I told him chill the fuck out, I come from syria and my mom gave it to me from her last trip, and what does being a christian have to do with it. Its ONLY a fucking keychain. Then he starts all the bull shit about syria and lebanon.
Where I'm getting at is that, I'm sorry that you sound excatly like him, like a retard.

Dude, why all the fucking anger? And i have no problems, i'm used to seeing all the syrians in lebanon. I don't think i'm "all that", and i'm sure as hell not a nationalist. I have no hard time admitting we were in deep shit. Any civil war is a case of deep shit, especially the lebanese one. ALL i'm saying is that the syrains over stayed their welcome, and that's a known fact. They were asked to help the government in 1976, but they stayed through to the end of the war, and are still there.
I could care less if i see a chrisitans syrian with a keychain. Hell, good for you, you're proud of country, and NO ONE is allowed to bash you for it. That guy is a person I don't like to associate with. Unfortunately, there are too many people like that in Lebanon and the rest of the world. Hell, my dad, my grandad, and his dad were all baptised in a church in Syria, not too far way from the border. I would have been baptised there if i hadn't been born during the war.
You can probabaly guess I don't appreciate being called a retard. Dude, we're both on the same boat, we're christians here okay? Let's just be friends and go along on our merry ways and forget all of this, okay? A-salam-al'aykoom (peace be with you)

Hey,
Are you lebanese too? If you aren't i honestly find it cool for you to have gone there. BUT...people did kill each other completely during the war. Sure, the Syrian intercession prolly did help, but not as much as we would have still liked. True, the Syrian army has pulled a lot of its forces out of Lebanon, and they are relaxed there. BUT the syrian government does pull the puppet strings immensley (spelling) in the lebanese gov't. To understand the dynamics of that, you'd have to know the workings of the governments there. Ahlamalek, before you freak Syria does have a lot of control in Lebanon, i mean let's face it. The pres of lebanon is a complete moron, and has no f00king clue how to do his job. But the Syrian intervention has to better contributions, either.
HAVING SAID THAT, I'd greatly appreciate it, as i'm sure Malek would, if we closed this discussion.
PS: I had no clue Malek was syrian.
PPS: Beirut WAS referred to as the jewel of the ME, switzerland of the ME, etc. Also, I'd grealt appreciate it if i wasn't patronized on matters that concern my counry's history, i know it very well.
