they never really pay you much for books at the end of the semester. i always was lucky to get back even half of what i spend....

thats very true,.. but when you spend $450 like Fox did and come back with $200 cash at the end of the semester when that $450 seems like a distant memory,.. its quite a nice feeling and to top it all off another semester would be completed,...

that's when u decide to keep them, since books are an invaluable resource. If you have a book in your possession, it is like you have a bit piece of knowledge that nobody can change. It is YOUR. Your personal piece of the world.

but maybe that is just my attitude, as i have the higest respect for books and come form a country, where it has been just a little over 60 years since people burnt books...
