Huge tactical win for José Mourinho.
Chelsea played fantastic, both offensively and defensively. I'm very impressed with how Mourinho didn't change all to much besides how he created a very clever plan to take care of Ronaldinho.
Ashley Cole and Khalid Boulahrouz were both great, and didn't allow any space at all on their flanks, while John Terry played amazingly good and took care of Chelseas defence together with his mates.
Essien & Makelele totally outplayed Xavi/Deco and killed their chances to create something offensively, besides a couple of times like that time where Deco passed to Messi, Amazing pass indeed, But Hilario saved the shot though.
Michael Ballack and Frank Lampard were both great, and what's really to be seen is that Ballack raised a level tonight when he was playing a very good team. Lampard did his job properly and didn't really have any chances of scoring.
Chelsea's goal was a fantastic piece of skill. Didier Drogba recieves the ball, makes his defender (Carles Puyol), turns around and strikes a fantastic shot, which Valdez can't do anything about, and 1:0 is a fact.
Sheva seems a little lost and I think some of you saw his little chat with Mourinho during a break, It was probably about his positioning and he definetly wants a lot, it's very frustrating though, He'll get better for sure, I hope anyways..
Essien, Drogba and Boulahrouz were tonights big giants, Amazing!
