pls. uncalled for and I'll apologize on behalf of Canadians, we have gotten a little out of control and don't know how to handle ourselves.
Sorry |
its all good sweetheart, I take zero offense when people run out of intelligent things to say and, to cover for it, make a failed attempt at insulting instead. Unfortunately for him, he looks like a bigger idiot than anyone You guys rock and I would never put "All Canadians" and this dude in the same category...I know better

one of the few times I agree with you in this thread
U.S. was upset at losing in overtime, especially after scoring late after pulling the goalie. If it were a 5-2 game you would have seen far different expressons for sure. The rollercoaster of emotions would get to anyone.
Yankeeboobie had some good arguments in this thread, unfortunately peppered with too many eye-rolling-at-others comments.
You can effectively convey your arguments without the hypersensitivity rants about others being hypersensitive
As for Evil Cookie's debating skills.. well.... |
haha true, ok ok I get what you are saying. I came out wrong, but, as I used to "live" up there, I often debate both sides in defense of two places I care for.
This is not a political statement by any means: I love when things like last night happen and Canada truly appreciates that they have an amazing country with great people! It happens WAY too often that I hear some Canadians spend more energy on what the US is doing as opposed to concentrating on what they have themselves You have a great thing going on up there, why waste energy?
Of course the game itself left a bitter taste for me, but, as a person with strong ties to Canada, I could not be more proud of your country as a whole last night And thus, my frustration (not sensitivity) to the endless negative energy to what everybody else is doing. Its just silly and a waste of time, becuase it wont change anything.
Sorry for the rolled eyes, but I ended up wasting my OWN time in these debates, playing both sides of the fence, and I think the burned American flag pic and the personal digs comment was worthy of those faces
Congrats to Canada and a job well done
