"Mylo turns down U2"
Up-and-coming dance maestro MYLO turned down a money-spinning offer to remix U2's new single, because he didn't have time.
The 25-year-old English DJ has gained a growing reputation in the music industry after remixing tracks by MOBY, THE KILLERS and KYLIE MINOGUE and was personally headhunted by BONO to add his magic to one of the tracks from their new album HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB.
But the DESTROY ROCK AND ROLL hitmaker explains, "I've given up on remixes. It's been getting out of control.
"I don't have time any more. I was coming home with a deadline hanging over my head to do remixes and I needed a couple of days off.
"U2 wanted me to work on their song CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS, which is a brilliant song which lends itself quite well to an electronic remix. I was gutted, but I had to turn them down.
"My main focus is on my live shows and recording new material."
