So here’s my incredibly late decadence review.
Had a fun pre-party at a friends house, and got to the guv at around 11:30, waited in line for about half an hour, not too bad considering how busy it was. Got in just in time to see Josh Gabriel start!
I loved his set, and then oakie came on, and I loved his set too, (although I did notice a few screw ups), and then Armin… again, I loved it. People seemed to complain that it “wasn’t hard enough” and was “his pussy ASOT stuff”… I like the pussy ASOT stuff, as never having seen him live, ASOT is the Armin I like and am used too. I thought the music the whole night was superb! Danced at the end with all you TAs and got to meet so many of you, best part of the whole night. Left at around 9, missing the final three armin songs!!!
Thanks to Stingray for the ride home, and you still haven’t got in touch with me about your car.
One more thing: HDT, holy crap you guys throw it down… I had heard stories, but never expected the force of what I witnessed. I am in awe.
Highlights: got to shake oakie’s hand which was lots of fun, met SO many TAs… can’t even begin to mention them all!!! Finally got to hear southern sun, although not the remix I would have wanted, still happy!!!
dancing with TAs was the absolute best
Downsides: PACKED, never seen the KH that packed…
Had a great time, and got lots of comments on the tshirts, for my pics see ** Tigerlily** ‘s post!
