This track was shitty last year and this is a shit remix of that shit track

Typical boring cheesetrance

18. Breakfast - The Sunlight (Original Mix) [Flashover]
I don't hate this track, hmmm maybe because it is not full of stupid vocals

17. Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren - Light The Skies (Retrobyte Classic Electrobounce Mix) [Baroque/Armind]
What a joke who came up with these vocals. Moved to the next track after 20 seconds of this shit

Exactly the type of commercial cheese crap I expected to be #1

So like two or three decent trance tracks out of the whole lot. But then I kind of expected this going in and of course it is no surprise that the top 10 is chock full of armin and his buddies. Bottom line, this kind of shit is what has caused me to have almost completely moved on from trance to other genres of EDM.

Many songs on the top 20 is good, but not one of my votes reached it, so the top 20 is far from perfect.

Summary:
Not hard to see that I'm a sucker for vocals, somewhat cheesy or not... fact is, 2007 needed a lot of vocals to somewhat maintain my interest for trance. But only one tune that I voted for is in this list!
A lot of great tunes have been left out, and as mentioned already... Anjunabeats / Armada flood. All this gives you a picture of how commercial the show has become. Also with 14/20 being vocal tunes... the show is easy on the ears for all kinds of people / listeners... hence where a lot of the votes come from.
Armada are getting on my nerves to be honest. They flood trackitdown / beatport / audiojelly etc + cdjshop with their "Best Of bla bla bla..." and "Various bla bla bla releases..." bullshit all the time, argh.

Want a quality show instead? Do as Jimmyplash said and tune in to Tiësto's Club Life every Friday at 22:00 CET, because this is getting ridiculous.

- One of my this year favorites. Definitely isn't trance, but trance isn't only "great breakdowns, deep pads" etc. It's also some slowly stuff, which gives you trancy feeling, and it's all about this tune.

16. Albert Vorne - Formentera What (Gareth Emery Remix) [Club Elite]
- When I heard it 1st time I never though: "It will be great tune". I must said it's huge tune! Maybe not Top 5, maybe not Top 10, but seriously deserves to be in Top 20.

15. DJ Shah feat. Adrina Thorpe - Who Will Find Me (Original Summer Sunrise Mix) [A State Of Trance]
- Perfect summer record like I said few months before and that's truth. Magic vocals, magic Shah sound? It will be classic in near future I guess.

14. Jonas Steur feat. Jennifer Rene - Fall To Pieces [Black Hole]
- I don't like it, repetive sound and vocals gets me boring this time. But, if U like it? Why not.

13. Ilse DeLange - The Great Escape (Armin Van Buuren Remix) [BMG]
- I don't know what I should thinking about this Armin's remix, solid production but... I don't know.

12. Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base - Oceanic (Original Mix) [Anjunabeats]
- Nice piano part, nice melody, but it's typical A&B sound. This tune gave me shivers some time ago, but since when "Buzz" was released, I think "Buzz" is better. This tune is all about Anjunabeats.

11. Filo & Peri feat. Eric Lumiere - Anthem (Original Vocal Mix) [Vandit]
- Already, we know almost everything about it, gayish or not? Now, who cares it? This tune was really big on the big events.

10. Armin Van Buuren - The Sound Of Goodbye (Nic Chagall Drumbeat Re-Edit) [Armind]
- I think it's the best classic rework this year (then "Fly Away").

09. Paul Van Dyk & Starkillers & Austin Leeds feat. Ashley Tomberlin - New York City [Vandit]
- Weird sound. I don't like Ashley vocals too much. This tune is ok, but I'm not fan of this.

08. Vincent De Moor - Fly Away (Cosmic Gate Remix) [Combined Forces]
- 2nd best remake this year. Nothing more to say. Not my favorite but still quality.

07. First State feat. Anita Kelsey - Falling (Original Mix) [In Trance We Trust]
- I love it pitched up, vocals are pretty cool rest is ok. Nice dancefloor anthem. Bangin' sound.

06. Armin Van Buuren - Rush Hour [Armind]
- The best Armin's tune since "Shivers". Not only Armin played it this year. OK tune but nothing more.

05. The Blizzard - Kalopsia (Original Club Mix) [Armind]
- Definitely my Top 5! Great job by Lars and Tore or Tore and Lars. Love this Blizzard sound, love these vocal samples here. Big trance record!

04. Above & Beyond - Home (Club Mix) [Anjunabeats]
- Generic Anjunish triple combo breakdown tune. Don't like, melody, vocals maybe I just hate it? It's the same situation like with "Alone Tonight", shit as hell for me!

03. Dash Berlin - Till The Sky Falls Down (Vocal Mix) [Captivating]
- Ibiza anthem of this year! Really like this specific sound here! I prefer Dub Mix but vocals are quite OK. Another, my Top 5 tune.

02. Armin Van Buuren vs. Rank 1 feat. Kush - This World Is Watching Me (Cosmic Gate Remix) [Armind]
- It was big tech-trance anthem on 1st part of this year. Many trance DJs played it. But I think this tune get votes because it's Armin Van Buuren tune. That's all.

- Another my Top 5 tune, but not at 1st place. Dancefloor killer, almost every DJ playing this shit. Love it or hate, I like it.

3 of 5 my this year favs are here, so I'm ASOT Junkie? Maybe, but it don't matter. My taste is my taste, your taste is your taste, everyone have own taste. If you like this, it's OK if not, it's OK too. Still, I think ASOT is the best radioshow, everyweek give us some cool tunes and Armin is still trance DJ. Club Life, Corsten's Countdown, and rest are only ASOT wannabe. But if you like these radioshows it's nice, because, it's your taste and you decide how your taste looks like.
