Here's a pictar of my potential new laptop...



it's a couple of years old but I think it should run for what I need it to. I just want to use it for class and recording sets from my mixer. The specs are:

20gb hd
256 ddr ram
Intel Pentium 4 Processor 1.5g

The only problems I see are the structure damage and wear and tear along with the fact that the battery seems to be on its last legs and the disk drive needs replaced.

but it's only $80!

I'm still trying to decide.

For 80 dollars that's good, but it's not gonna do a whole lot for you and to properly record your sets (without nasty feedback and ugly sound) youll prolly need a new soundcard which will cost 50-80 minimum.

Then again, i'd see how it records without a new card.

If you NEED it... go for it, but if not, save your 80 towards a new/used apple.
