Thanks, the motion blur is definitely intentional on a lot of them though. They were all taken by my roommate for next year and very close friend Drew Smalley who is a photography major here at school, but is primarily a nature photographer... I'll see if I can find the link to his site, he's got some amazing pics...
IMO you can go overkill on the blurred clubbing pics... if hes a photography major tell him about 2nd curtain flash Makes that kind of pic look sweeeeet.

Yeah, the one thing I'm always telling him is not to worry about flashing the camera in my eyes... It's just something he really seems to worry about so he tries to work with the ambient lighting in the room, but yeah, it can be overkill on some. Fortunately though, there are quite a few that do turn out real nice with the blur...

Dragging the shutter FTW! Its the ONLY way Im able to stand using my flash. I hated flash photography until I discovered this wonderful technique, and its PERFECT for club stuff like this.
