I listen to ESPN radio every night when I go to bed, and the guy has been saying the past few nights that he doesn't think Miami will lose another game the rest of the playoffs. I can definitely see that happening now...

As much as I like Dirk, I'd also like to see Miami win it all just to silence all of the Heat haters, and to make that cock of an owner of the Cavs eat his words. I've always liked Lebron, and he deserves to win one. If they win it this year though, I can definitely see a few more in their future, especially when they can add a few more key role players to their lineup.

Right? I mean if there is a season next year. People have been saying it all year about how you can't just buy superstars without supporting role players and win a championship. cant argue with that, cavs had alot of time to do something and didnt.

I just dont like how wade pretty much asked Bosh and Lebron to come to miami. after the trade happened, i saw an interview with MJ, he said: 'In my days, i wansnt calling up Magic, Bird, Isiah to join my team...i was trying to beat those guys."

The NBA is not what it used to be, and MJ is the greatest!i want to have his babies

Yeah, but these days a lot of players are friends before they get to the NBA, or through other avenues. Wade and Lebron and Bosh all played on the Olympic team when they won the gold medal. Why wouldn't you want to play on the same team as your friends? There's plenty of other people to be competitive with.

Still, it's not like you can just throw any combination of superstars together and they'll be successful. Look at the Knicks. I think the Lebron/Wade/Bosh thing was pretty unique, and they actually fit really well together as a team.

lebron's main rival (in his gen) is Wade....ya they played on the same team for the Olympics? So did Magic/Jordan or Jordan/Drexler

Jordan and Barkley were very close, they never made an attempt to be on the same team...

face it, the NBA is turing into a 3 man team (look at the lakers if Chris Paul/Howard join) then you have the Knicks, etc

and a bunch of scrub teams....in the 90s the NBA i find had way better players so the teams were more equally distributed.

im just an old fart that lived in the lime light of the NBA in the 90s....still fun the watch now, but not like before

In the 90's, there were 6 or 8 teams at the bottom that were absolutely atrocious. We don't think about it because the teams at the top were so awesome.

I think the distribution today is better. Every major market has a good team at the same time: Boston, L.A., NY, Chicago, Dallas, Miami. There was a 10 year period when Boston and New York sucked huge balls, and the NBA was worse for it.
