same here, i have so much HW as well but unfortunatly i can not hold my concentration let alone a conversation right now (pain killers..)!

i have a toshiba and i love it, it is a bit old and i am looking at getting a new laptop, they have some good ones and they do not cost as much as a dell, but dell's are nice....

i saw a really nice toshiba that i am in love with...it has an internal cdwriter and a dvd player for like $1200, which is not bad.

right now i have a laptop that has the basics and i use an external writer which is slow compared to the new ones.

anyways go with tosibas i have NEVER had a problem with them at all and my family has been using then 4 years..

i am driving with 3 other friends (it will be confirmed 2morrow) up there but thanks for the offer. it is only 6 hours from providence?
