Especially the way the article "continues" on page 89, when it originally started on page 34. Why do magazines do that? You know? Fuck. No reason for it.

They do it so that you are forced to thumb through several pages of advertisements. Even if you just approximate what page to turn to, you're going to be forced to see at least a couple specifically-paced ads for this and that.

It's similar how shopping malls will likely never put the beef jerky and beer store next to the Gamestop. They don't want a particular demographic to be so convenienced; they would rather you walk the entire length of the mall to get where you want to be.

I skimmed through a few pages there is some funny repartee, a lot of bossy jenny telling Jori how to act, and Hal gliding in and out of conversations like the gay socialite at the party.

And a lot of IGK feeling left out and acting spiteful towards more well-liked people - like the drunk failure making a bitter speech at his better looking, more successful older brother's wedding.
